On the occasion in celebration of National Sports Day on 29th August 2023, the university organized Table Tennis and Chess competition at D.Y. Patil Education Society (Deemed to be University), Kolhapur Kadamwadi Sports Complex on 26th August 2023 and 27th August 2023 respectively.

The program was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Sir, Registrar Sir, Dr. Advait Rathod Sir, Shankar Gonugade Sir (Sports Director) along with the student representative and elected president for student council, Mr. Nirant Patil from college of Physiotherapy.

Several students from different colleges participated in the intercollegiate event and the event was a success.
